I happened upon this one while shopping for a good Fall beer, and while I tend to stick to more obscure breweries and their wares I decided to give this one a go.
In the glass I was greeted with a reddish orange color with thin foamy head. My nose picked up autumn leaves and oak. The taste did not disappoint either … there was tastes of chocolate and caramel bready malts with some hops to balance the finish. The feel in the mouth was cold and crisp which turned into a warm feeling as it was being swallowed very much like autumn beer should.
Look for this one, it’s a worth a try.
