Beer of the Week – Saint Arnold Oktoberfest

Saint Arnold Oktoberfest

This is my second year enjoying this Märzen from Saint Arnold Brewing Company in Houston. A full bodied, malty, slightly sweet beer, it has a round malt flavor and an above average alcohol content perfect for a cool fall evening.

This is one of those beers you don’t want to consume ICE COLD, as it is best consumed at around 40° Fahrenheit. Pour in a lager glass or stein to enjoy the malty aroma.

Overall: Great, nutty, bready Oktoberfest with merely a hint of hops.

Incidentally, you may very well be wondering, just WHO is this St. Arnold guy anyway. Read up on him HERE … as a beer devotee you owe it to yourself to get to know him.
