Crack open a cold one with Brewsees

One would think that having a bottle opener on a keychain was enough, but in this day and age it’s not unheard of to have one built into clothing, phone cases and – yes, even sunglasses. Brewsees Eyewear ($29) gives you the option to shade your delicate eyes from Solar assault AND open a cold brew – just don’t attempt to do both at the same time.

American ingenuity at its best!

I ordered mine and was skeptical – how can a pair of sunglasses sport the strength necessary to pry open a beer cap? Not to worry, the shades sport an internal skeleton made from 6061 airplane-grade aluminum (that’s some TOUGH stuff, folks) inside a polycarbonate frame – ensuring they’ll stay in prime condition no matter how many “one more beers” you open. The bottle-opening design is sporty and not as obvious as one would think. The arms of the frames have a bottle opener at the end that tucks behind your ear, meaning it won’t get noticed until someone needs a hand. My only complaint was they fit SNUGLY, but I find as I wear them the fit has “mellowed” a bit.

Getting the job done!

OK, so we know the frame kicks ass and can handle a case of cold brews, but what about the lenses? According to their site, they sport 1.1mm polarized lenses with a UV 400 rating. (Heck – they’ll even put prescription lenses in these bad boys! Visit EyeGlassPeople.com to bring get started) A signature koozie with the clever mantra “Real Men Pry” completes the package.

Stylish, subtle (who would know they open my beer?) ... I feel like James Bond!

We’d love to see a photo of you sportin’ a pair of these bad boys!
