Beer of the Week: Abita Fall Fest
Every year I look forward to the release of Abita’s Fall Fest, an Octoberfest-style lager brewed with pale, Munich and caramel malts. Hopped with German Perle and Hallertau hops, the result is a full-bodied amber brew with not too much caramel. I also get a light bitterness which is appreciated.
Overall: This is a good nutty and caramely, but still fairly fresh and light, very drinkable beer.
